The Hayek Foundation (Moscow) is a non-governmental research, political and financial center with its own neo-liberal political niche. It has been set up in keeping with its Trustees' vital preferences for the Western conservative tradition.
The Hayek Foundation (Moscow) - The Friedrich von Hayek Foundation's Trustees proceed from recognizing the need to take a closer look at the practical knowledge accumulated in the world at large - the liberal political knowledge provided by Friedrich von Hayek and translated into life in industrialized nations.
The Hayek Foundation (Moscow) - The Friedrich von Hayek Foundation's Mission is to assist Russia's accelerated industrial development securing the de facto established capitalist economic relations in Russia on the principles of private property, free enterprise, competitive market, individual freedom, limited government, and traditional moral values. The Foundation has been set up to foster capitalist processes in Russia through financial, political, analytical, theoretical, methodological and informational assistance, and to fund research in the theory and practice of neo-liberal policies.
The Hayek Foundation (Moscow) is established to reward prominent academic studies in neo-liberal economic policies and rational political theory, as well as to publish the complete works of a distinguished scholar and humanist Friedrich von Hayek. The legacy of this "courtly Austrian aristocrat and one of the twentieth century's most influential intellectuals" (Edwin Feulner) offers solutions to Russia's domestic and international problems.
The Hayek Foundation (Moscow) - The Friedrich von Hayek Foundation's governing body is the Presidium of the Foundation's Board of Trustees. Dr. Yevgeny Volk, Coordinator of the Heritage Foundation Moscow office, is elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees (President of the Hayek Foundation).
Dr. Yuri Petukhov is the Foundation's Vice-President and Executive Director.
